Ellen Campbell of Anniston, Alabama and I were married in 1966. I served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970.  We lived all over the South and my family and I relocated from Tampa, Florida to Southern Pines in 1978.  We operated a successful local business for many years.  We have raised two children here in the Southern Pines Area and are members of Christ Community Church of Pinehurst. Our grown children, their spouses and our four grandchildren all live in the area.
