In this course, Licensee’s will explore how the REALTOR® Code of Ethics and Fair Housing laws intersect to guide ethical decision-making and protect equal access to housing opportunities for all consumers. This course provides an in-depth look at both professional conduct and legal compliance obligations. The class blends case studies, interactive exercises, real-world scenarios, and quizzes to strengthen understanding of the Licensee’s duties to clients, customers, the public, and fellow Licensee’s. Participants will examine how ethical principles apply to everyday practice, marketing, and communication — and how Fair Housing compliance goes beyond avoiding discrimination to actively promoting inclusion and equity in housing. Through discussion, lecture, videos and exercises, learners will develop strategies to identify potential violations, prevent bias in advertising and representation, and navigate ethical dilemmas. By the end of the course, Licensee’s will have the tools to demonstrate professionalism, uphold the Code, follow Fair Housing Laws and foster trust and fairness in all real estate transactions.
