Have you ever thought you were in this world all alone? 

Have you ever wished you just had another person do something for you? 

If you instruct your spouse to stop by a store to purchase milk and bread, is the spouse your “agent” while performing this task? 

An agency relationship exists anytime one person performs any act on the behalf of another! 

Legally, “agency” is defined as: A relationship created by contract, in which one party acts on behalf of another party. 

Thus, agency is “simple”. But like most areas of life, there are “rules” as to how we are to function in real estate agency relationships.
